People know yet pretend not to know, why?
People know health is important and is wealth yet they act against it and get ill, why so irresponsible, they know but they act as if they do not know.
Some people don't want to be healthy. Sugar, sweets, the wonderful tastes and flavors. They cannot help but fall into the trap. Also others want to disobey the rules every once in a while. They feel a little sneaky, going behind societies rules, risking themselves. It is a little exciting and adds to the amusements. Or other people don't care about health. They will face bad health when it becomes a real issue.
Because life is short, and enjoyment means more than health on many levels. We are all going to die one day, so enjoying the time we have on this planet far out ranks living only to live longer.
It's not that they don't know, they simply don't care or don't think "that" could ever happen to them. (i.e. Disease) The truth of the matter is, if you don't eat what your body needs to function it simply wont function properly. People want to be able to eat anything they want and lose weight, stay healthy, ect. but it don't work that way. You eat crap, your going to feel like crap.
I like to eat things that serve not nutritional value to them, we all do, but when that's all your eating/drinking...
Your killing yourself.
Humans are not rational actors, regardless of what some economic models may have you believe. Because of this people will sometimes act in ways that are not in their maximal interests for no other reason other than no rational and fully informed decision was made before taking action.
Lack of faith! strange, but its a fact most of us say we have all faith in God and we follow his commandments perfectly but its not true, we disobey him by our deeds, behaviour & life style ....this body is a beautiful gift to us from God a treasure to look after it perfectly in order 2 keep the body healthy & fit bcoz, a healthy body bears a healty mind...but we fail in doing so and knowingly or unknowingly ruin our health, thus out of ignorance we are committing a sin near God!

As my wife and I struggle to put enough money away to buy a home and plan for having a child, I'm left wondering why others don't have to be responsible for their own lives. I was at Sam's Club the other day, and was in line behind two full shopping carts full of racks of ribs, tenderloins, pork...

Why do we assume things based on perception when we do not yet have the facts?I have assumed thing just based on perception without knowing all the fact. I believe we have all done this at some time or another. WE tend to pre-judge others which is highly unfair. And yet each of us is guilty of...

couples? It seems that in this strongly pronatalist society, there is still the underlying premise, the more, the better. People are continuously exhorted to have children by their parents, friends, religion, relatives, and the outer society. Oftentimes, many people have children much...

Why is sarcasm lost on some people, yet others seem to 'get it' right away?I personally love good sarcasm, even if it is sent in my general direction. Why are some people just totally humorless?
