Well I am, but I'm not happy with my hubpages earnings ;-)))
yes i am. i surprised myself over the years by making a pretty good life for myself. i'm not rich but i'm sure not poor. i have good friends and an awesome family. people respect me for what i do and for what i have to say. yup, life is pretty good i must say.
Happiness is relative. However, I firmly believe that we always end up chasing happiness instead of finding it.

Every one asks this question to themselves at some point of time(At least most of those I have closely known did).
If you are talking about 'Life' as such, one should be asking this question at least after 50 years of age. Because 20, 30 or 40 would not be appropriate age to call it a LIFE.
If you are talking about 'life-style', one should ask this question as often as possible. It is because life-style can change with every single factor. When I am not happy with my life-style, I do try to change certain things that can suit the life-style I am targeting. Some times, if there is no change in life-style for long time, I experiment different things in quest of a better life-style.
Well, if you ask about my life, I'm just 23 and it's progressing well. I am trying to do my best so that I do not regret at a later stage. I am pretty happy with that.
Also, when you say life, you may include parents, family, economical conditions, etc. Every one will find problems in one or many factors like that . So, that is common for every one and should not effect if you are trying to progress in your life.
Sincerely,
Spidey
I have lead a wonderful and interesting life. Currently I wish my health was better but I am not complaining. I am in a nursing/rehab facility right not. Been here since December. I almost died then. I have a problem reoxygenating. My lungs will not absorb O2, so I had a high level of co2. I have this from my 15 years as a firefighter and mostly from the toxins I breathed at WTC ground zero. Despite the health issue, IF I could change anything, I would not, I would do it all the same. To me this no problem. I feel good having helped as many people as me and my brother firefighters have. The people and property we saved over the years makes this all worth while.
I am content with my life, accepting both good and bad. I'm not sure sure if I'll ever be 'happy' but contentment is good.
Wrong question...It should be "Are you living your life with your full Potential" ? then automatically...one start loving his life.
This is an interesting question, some of you may answer it as "yes" or some may say "no". See there a man with a goal in his life is always find himself happy as he has a reason to live, where as the other who says no is definitely confused about his/her life without having any goal in its life. So if you really want to enjoy your life... start making goals and execute them, I have also written a hub on it, I think you will be more interested to go through it " How to achieve a goal successfully", but before reading that, you need to have a goal.
Honstly right now no i cant say that iam im thankfull for what I have but at this point Im still struggling to find out about who iam

Do you believe that the majority of people are not living authentic lives but prescribed lives whichexplains why they are unhappy most of the time? Only a few people are living life the way they want and have jobs/careers that they enjoy doing. Most people live their lives...

And if you're not, what would you change to reach the state of happiness you want to be in.I am happy for living my life without any stress, the freedom to choose where I want to go each day, for having found true love and for having learned how to love myself with all the good and all the bad.
