While I have been researching about everything about weight loss surgery, I have found that yes, losing weight may lessen or completely lose the need for the sleep apnea maching. I will be having the WLS in the next few weeks. I know from the folks that have had this surgery that their apnea has been gone since the weight has been taken off.
