Great hub. Do you have any advice for the best buy for a pull-up bar for home use?

I use a pull up bar called the Power Gym. There are several companies making similar products, one is called The Iron Gym. They don't require you to screw into your door frame which is a plus. They run between $30 and $40cdn, USD I think is about half of that if I remember correctly.

I even found one of these at Ace Hardware, oddly enough. I shoulda picked it up. Probably will go back and get it.

The key to pull ups is that if you can't do one to begin, spotting is fine, but doing compound joint movement exercises like bench press, even leg squats, etc., will go a long way in increasing overall muscularity. In fact, a lot of novice body builders forget legs thinking they're not that important, but you get the biggest testosterone boosts from working the largest muscles, which are the legs, so if you want over all muscularity so that you *can* do pull-ups, do these compound moves and in a short time, you'll be able to do some.

Hey Rick, What if you cant do even one pull up? What exercise do I do to be able to do your workout?

    1. profile image53
rick100kposted 13 years agoin reply to this

hey man, if you are not able to do not even one, look for someone to spot you, by slightly grabbing you by your feet just helping you a little bit to get all they way up, soon you will develop enough strength to begin doing some on your own, and then you'll take it from there!

Sex is the best exercise ever.

There is no dispute over this fact.

    You can a six-pack abs....

    You can stay healthy....

    You can have fun.....

    You get your cardio going.....

    You burn fat and calories.....

How can you do better than that? You can't.

Besides, at least sex you don't have to stop after 20-30 minutes like you do with normal exercise.

Sex you can do for HOURS and HOURS....depending. lol

There is no one best exercise. In fact only doing one exercise bears the risk of causing muscle imbalances.
