Do you hold yourself accountable for your choices and behaviors? If not now, when?
I've always held myself accountable for my choices and decisions. I used to try to live life with no regrets. As I've gotten older, I know that is not possible being imperfect. Every choice that comes out with ill results that cause pain to me or someone else comes with regrets. I've not been one to blame someone else when things go awire. I own up to my role in the mishap and move on to make amends if possible or learn for the future if I cannot.
I believe that not making decision is also a kind of decision but worse so if I keep delaying things and something just happens - I still take responsibility for the results as I could make a decision earlier.
Anyway it's quite cool as holding myself accountable, I put myself in control of my life which is very empowering.
Absolutely I do. Nobody has the control over my life, as I do, with the choices I make. This is not always the most uplifting experience, as I'm perfectly imperfect like the rest of you, but it is life and I take responsibility for what I do.
