What is the best warm-up exercise for singers before starting to sing?
How long should it take? Do you know any simple warm-up drills?
as far as we know...honey can help. Screaming into a towel covering yourr mouth too....the rest just will follow, according to your experience. Relaxation is important for the vocal chords. Good Luck!
LORD
I seriously have no idea but what I heard is you got to warm up your vocal cords. I could be wrong though.
you need to relax first.. honey with some dates(roasted) is best.... then sing for hours n hours
Barbell Bench press and dumbell pullover will expand your rib cage allowing
more space for air to get into the lungs.
Also deep breathing exercises will expand you lung capacity enabling you to
sing with ease.
I can't remember the name of a singer back in the 50's but I do know
he could bench press 400 lbs.
Also soak a hand towel in hot water and wrap
around the neck this will warm up the vocal muscles.
Humming works for me. At least 10-15 mins. And drink lots and lots of warm water.
