I would say that, in the case of a job and if it pertains to public service... pleasing personality means being able to empathize with the costumer and always have a smile on your face. Being the kind of person you like to talk to when you go somewhere as a client also.
Someone who can be pleasant even when other people are not. Someone who can soothe a difficult situation and makes others feel comfortable in unfamiliar surroundings. A person who welcomes people appropriately and can carry on a conversation and make introductions properly.
someone who is outgoing and friendly, but not obnoxious or overbearing. Also someone who doesn't let others visibly get under their skin and who can talk nicely to others even if they are being rude or pushy. Someone who can soothe others who are upset by remaining calm in their tone and helpful.
