How will you make today count?
With so little time allotted for our journey here on this planet, is seems every moment would count. Yet we often tend to let this precious resource called time slip by without accomplishing what we want. So the question begs, what are you going to do today, maybe even right now, to make this time you have mean something for you or for others?
Peace be with you!
Today I will make one person laugh. I will touch the life of another. I will play with and teach my children. I will read to them and in front of them. I will write a poem to share with my readers. I will call my husband and tell him how much I love him. I will cook and enjoy a meal with my family. I will lay in my husband's lap as we watch our favorite show. I will bathe my babies in bubbles, then tell them a story as they lull off to sleep. I will fall asleep in my husband's arms and wake to do it all over again.
I believe it was Gandi that said if you can touch the life of just one then your whole life has been worth while. As a mother and wife I'm blessed to be able to touch the lives of 3, and my writing gives me the opportunity to touch so many more.
today I let go of something that I've been bogged down with for awhile...and it feels wonderful. My focus has been completely off for so long and so today...I let it go and I feel light and free for the first time in a long time. thanks for asking...I like the question=)
If I can make at least one person smile. If I can make someone feel needed. If I can show my family that I love them. If I can help at least one person, then my day counted.
