Would a detox diet remove my sensitivity to MSG/glutamate? I hate not being able to eat soy sauce.
I'm thinking of doing a 30 day fruit fast to rid my body of its extreme sensitivity to any free glutamate. I don't care if I never eat KFC chicken or brats ever again, but not being able to eat sushi properly is killing me. And making a vinegar/wasabi dip for my sashimi just doesn't cut it. Thanks!
I don't think it would make any difference whatsoever. Everyone I know who is sensitive to MSG has stayed that way. However, I do know some people who cannot eat MSG who can eat the more natural forms of it such as disodium guanylate.
