Are you afraid of going outside when there is lightning? How do you cope up?
I developed a fear of lightning at 12 years old when I heard people instantly dies from it. I love the rain but when I heard a thunder and see a lightning, I started getting afraid to come out.
I wouldn't go out during a thunderstorm but I wouldn't mind going out in the rain. Better safe than sorry
I am not afraid, in fact I LOVE storms. I don't sit out in the middle of the field, but I will go out and sit on the porch. I also do photography, so it is awesome to try and get that "one" shot.
I never feared storms, so I guess that is why I love them so much now. Even when my kids were little, we would sit on the porch, or inside by the window to watch them all. It depended on how much it was raining.
Now, my grand daughter has followed suit in the love of a good storm.
I quite like storms and love the thunder and lightening. I would prefer to be inside; although I have been outdoors once when the thunder started. I love to watch the storm from my window. Usually after thunder and lightening here in the UK, the weather can change for the better, so I always look forward to that. My daughter is 11 years old and she loves to watch the thunder storms snuggled up in a blanket.

We had to go down to the basement several times last spring. Now, if it's storming during the night, she wakes...

A house or building is the best shelter to prevent getting hurt while lightning is going on. You never go under a tree. These days cars are so well equipped with protection against lightning that will be a second choice. Good luck to everyone while trying to stay safe. I am looking...
