Do you know of any home remedies for asthma?

Sometimes, especially during allergy season, asthma can creep up for whatever reason.  Do you have any suggestions for people that struggle with asthma?

Altoids. I don't know why, but they've saved me when camping. But see a doctor; it's best to have a real emergency inhaler, for safety's sake.

hi i am a respiratory physio from India, dear friend first things are first, rule out the causes of asthma attack like, what would be cause of previous attack and what are causing allergy's and my sincere advice is to be away form them.
the second thing is learn relaxation techniques and always be relaxed this will reduce the risk of attack. specially learn the relaxation way of breathing.
finally carry drugs given by physician with you to prevent any worst conditions, last but not least avoid dust and mist exposure.

    have a rapid recovery smile

I struggle with asthma and 24/7 allergies. It is very important to keep your home clean, dusted and vacuumed to reduce allergens and locate any mold or triggers not immediately visible. A rescue inhaler is a necessity. I have heard that one tbs of natural honey every day helps clear allergies therefore helping asthma.

I have seasonal and exercise-induced asthma.  Occasionally when I am out running and I get a mild attack, I find that just breathing normally and continuing to run for 5-10 minutes, it will pass.  I know that's not a home remedy for asthma, but perhaps there is something to the relaxation approach?  Certainly when I am more stressed, it seems to exacerbate the symptoms.

Magnesium is a natural substance that helps with asthma, as well as B6. A new homeopathic supplement has just come out for asthma
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A1Q … 0ccf4-20It actually helped me.
Getting your allergies under control will also help. QBC, is probably the most helpful of all the supplements I used, manufactured by douglas labs.
I wrote an article on allergies, and asthma.http://artist101.hubpages.com/hub/Is-it-a-cold-or-allergy
    I hope this helps.
