What Exactly Is A Bipolar Disorder?
What is Bipolar Disorder? Can it be treated? How many people have Bipolar Disorder? What are the symptoms of Bipolar Disorder?
My son has bipolar type 2. I have written a hub on it and how using omega-3 can help improve the condition. Bipolar is marked by periods of mania and other periods of clinical depression. Type 2 may be marked by long very severe periods of depression and the periods of mania are called hypermania because they are not as drasticly manic as the ones seen in Type 1. There are medications that treat bipolar but getting the right one or the combinations correct can be a long difficult process. It is believed that 20% of people with bipolar disorder commit suicide. I believe the key is family support and just not giving up on finding good treatment.
