Are short and Intense or long and less intense exercise regimes more effective?
some times I jog kind of quickly for 30 minutes on the treadmill and burn about 460 calories but some days Ill be restricted by my time and sprint hard for 15 minutes and burn around 360 calories. Which of these 2 regimes is better for fat burn and cardio?
I'm sure short and intense has its place, but generally long and less intense is best (aerobic) maybe 1/2 an hour a day, then short and intense (anaerobic) for a lesser time (for the muscles) and they are now recommending some short and intense for the brain etc whereas the previous emphasis was on long and less intense (aerobic)
