If you eat cereal fortified with vitamins, could a multivitamin every day be too much for body?
The label on Centrum shows many vitamins at 100 percent and more.
No, you're safe. The MDR (minimum daily requirement) or RDA (recommended daily allowance) used in both vitamins and in fortification are both one tenth (or less) the dose of any vitamin that might, if taken in high doses, be harmful. So the combined amounts of vitamins from a multivitamin and any fortified food are well within health safety limits.
