What is the most ideal way to wake up to feel the best that day?
What rituals do you do, do you get right out of bed or lay down, do you drink water right away, listen to music, etc.?
I could tell you my prescription for starting a great day.... but it would NEVER get past the censors on this site.... Use your imagination!!!!!....

Be thankful that you woke up....each day is a gift. A new day to explore, discover, and learn....from the time your feet hit the floor, revel in the newness of that day. No matter whether you have a pain here or there, don't let that get in your way. Think about what is in store for the day.
If you are struggling for some reason at this point, look around and there is always someone else who is in a worse situation than you are.
From personal experience I know this to be true. Some very life changing things have happened in my family but we found that no matter how difficult our struggle was or is, there are always others whose struggle is worse.
So not to sound like Pollyanna, there is always a bright side. ...always
This has been really challenging for me, due to toxicity and illness in the body. Getting very healthy and cleansing has been key. Now that I've done that, waking up and going into Zen meditation is wonderfully rich. I also like writing Morning Pages (as prescribed in The Artists Way) and doing a mix of different exercises.
OH I forgot.............the best hitch in your giddyup is letting off a whole clip of machine gun farts!
I start my day by thanking god for everything he has blessed me with. If I feel positive when I get up, the whole day is fruitful.
