What is the best thing to put on poison sumac?

In 2008, I got poison sumac for the first time.  Although it doesn't spread, it was very painful and felt like an open wound.  I had it all summer long until I was prescribed Prednisone for a bout of poison ivy I also had.  The Prednisone took it away but I would like to know about a natural remedy.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

To put on poison sumac or on the rash it caused? If you touched it make sure you wash the affected areas with plenty of water immediately.  There is a product called Zanfel that can remove the oil that was transferred to your skin that will help.  In my opinion it is the best stuff on the market.

It wasn't really a rash that it caused.  It resembled more of a burn and felt like one.  Solid red welt.  Nothing I put on it took it or the pain away.
Is Zanfel an over the counter cream or pill?
