Every night I dream about my son, who was taken, and my ex husband with his girlfriend who took him.

That's awful. Is there a reason why you have that same dream or is it just a nightmare like any other?

I used to have a recurring nightmare of walking through a county fair with my dad. He would fall into a hole in the ground. I would jump in after him to find myself under water trying to find him. A witch wold appear and laugh at me. I never found my father in the dream.........my dad is still alive in real life and still lives with my mom. I have no idea what this meant, if anything.

I never accepted the fact that my grandma died. Every night I have this nightmare, about her lying on a coffin and I would come running to her, full of anger, crying my heart out, because people around me did this to her, put her on a coffin knowing that she's still alive. I would wake up screaming and full of tears.

I had a similar dream, but it's about my aunt. It's pretty awful.

The worst nightmare I had was that I was killed in my dream.

In terms of actual nighttime dream nightmares, I had an awful one last week that involved trying to climb out and escape and finding rats, and being attacked by rats everywhere.

In terms of nightmarish thoughts, the idea of being trapped ill and in prison for the rest of my life tops the list.
