I'm trying to find out more about inappropriate laughing. I have done it for years. I love to laugh but sometimes it has got me in trouble. Please tell me if you are the same or even if you aren't. Tell me what you think about people who do laugh at inappropriate times.
ALL the time. People say I heartles.... im just socially akward. I laugh when Im nervous, and I have a slightly warped sense of humor.
i am an in appropriate laugher.......
I laughed all the time when i should not have done at school. it got me in trouble all the time.
Some one might say, such and such a body has died
There i am again in fits of laughter
It is some kind of cover up, a nervous thing i am told
justine are you and i actually the same people or something, i keep thinking i am you
oh wait, was that inapropriate? a friend told me a story about a guy who tipped over on his scooter, and the elevator door kept trying to shut, but the squeaky wheel of his scooter stopped it, and she didnt know what to do........then I laughed and well, people stepped away from me in horror...
I get elbowed at weddings and funerals...funny stuff just pops in my head...I can't help it.
the worst one when my sister died. My other sister who is so in contol all the time, asked me did i want to go and see her body.
I just could not stop laughing. My mum was not surprised, well she was the one who had got all the letters home from school about my in appropriate laughing..... my sister really got angry with me, and said "Well we won't be laughing when we go to see her, will we mum" that made me laugh even more. I did not go to see her though wow no
then when my mum got cancer and i was smiling one day and trying to stop laughing, when her friends were visiting, Bless my mum. She said Brenda does not mean to laugh she can't help it...... how funny is that..... i just keeled over
i realise how annoying it is now. I was lying on my back in perfect agony in urine, that i had slipped on and my colleagues were laughing....... how not funny is that
i laughed when i fell down the stairs. no one would believe me how much it hurt. my hip is wrong to this day
it is such a shame for us two imagine if we were together for the afternoon...... we could laugh our heads off, lets go in the forums you said we could celebrate my 200 fans today, i am allowed that, play David Bowie as loud as poss, and any other song you fancy
Thanks for all your responses!
Is there anything that can be done to stop this?
Thinking of sad thoughts, does not work for me.
there is no cure as far as i know get's worse with age and when you laugh too much when you are old, you wet yourself as well
uh-oh oper floodgates, maybe?
I guess that just shows we are bound at some length to go full circle in life..
well my job is always to mop it up before someone slips in it
i know i changed it what who would sleep in it,,,,,, dont ask
I've laughed when uncomfortable or embarrassed, not always at the best times....

When was the last time you had a good laugh? In our world today, we see all the striff and turmoil around us that we become like stone, harden. Laughter has always been good medicine. When was the last time you laughed, not chuckled or gave a "ha ha", but a good hearty laugh?

What do you do to stop yourself laughing at really inappropriate moments?!We've all been there, standing in the middle of something really serious when the image of your friend falling flat on his face in that puddle in front a crowd of people the other day pops into your mind. What do you do to...

some people just can't help it, some people just don't care. I'm 53 now- and I would like to think that I am more mature than I am. Today my wife and I grabbed lunch at my favorite chinese place and the guy in the next booth behind my wife farted so loud that it startled her. haha- I watched her...
