What are you grateful for today?
Me...I'm grateful to see my husband beaming from ear to ear about a new car he is purchasing. You?
Actually it is funny that you should mention that your husband was beaming from getting a new vehicle. It's a small world, because actually I was beaming with excitement over the past month, and finally drove home my new 2012 vehicle today. It is certainly a great feeling and something to be grateful about isn't it? However I think that I should be more grateful - thanks to the good Lord, for being able to wake up every morning and being able to function without having to be in a wheel chair and being incapacitated by a crippling nerve disease such as Multiple Sclerosis, like one of my close aunts. Now that is something to be grateful for, in turn not having to suffer with MS, like so many other unfortunate ones in the world today. That is not only something to be grateful for, but also to count your blessings on.
I agree Jl. And I am extremely grateful for my health, family, friends, and life. It's just that yesterday, the car was pretty high on my list.
I saw a homeless man at the supermarket today. Im grateful that I have a roof over my head and food to eat.
That's certainly something in addition to be very grateful for, particularly in this given economy, and the country being still in a recession. We do not realize how fortunate many of us are to have the simple things in life, which some do not have.
I agree JIbowden, I don't judge people at first sight these people have a reason for having so little - lucky to be born in a decent country I should have placed a coin in he's hand we must help our community there's no room for more greed!
Yes miss, it's hard to complain when you have all the basic necessities in life.
I'm grateful for my family, our house, the good food we share and our health.
I'm grateful for the sunshine and warmth of the last day of summer and I'm grateful to be home after a long work week! I'm grateful for happiness and for love and for my beautiful family. I'm grateful for the birds feeding at the feeder right now..So, I guess I'm grateful for every aspect of my life!
I am grateful for the fact that I can wake up each morning and am still here enjoying life and my Family....
Knowing that all the years of doing what I loved, did enabled me to view both sides of life, and I chose to be positive, regardless of what came my way ( actually that should be ' thrown my way ")... As I watch my children mature and my grandchildren grow, I no longer question " did I do it right ?"
So I guess I would say I am grateful for each and every day...........

Stacie gave me this idea of starting a thread about being grateful.I had a great friend who was very very wise. At a low point in my life he asked me to follow in his footsteps. He showed me a cedarchest full of little notebooks. The covers all had dates from---to. He said the last thing he...
