Would you get the flu shot if you haven't had the flu or the shot in at least 20 years?
No, I don't believe in them. I think they are largely ineffective and they tax your immunity. I would rather boost my natural immune system and keep my money.
No. I have done polls on this with my profession, and I'm astonished by the answers. I have found that just about everyone who has had the flu actually got the flu afterward, and it was the worst flu ever. Some even died from it. Those who didn't get the flu shot have been able to avoid the flu or didn't have a bad case. I've heard the news say that the flu shot is a "dead" vaccine; however, something seems to be quirky with it and those who do get the vaccine. For me personally, I have never had the flu shot, and I believe I've only had it twice in my 45 years.
No, I really do not want a flu shot. I have heard too many horror stories. I have never had a flu shot and haven't been sick in a long time ( I have moderate to severe fibromyalgia) with flu or cold or stomach ailments. I don't leave the house much due to the fibro so my exposure to the "bugs" is limited.
Absolutely not. I've never had the flu shot and I would much prefer to have the flu than the shot.
Most vaccines that we administer to ourselves and our children contain heavy metals among other things. We cry about lead in paint, but we inject our children with mercury. There are also stem cells that come from aborted fetal tissue, monkeys and pigs. Anyone who lives a Kosher lifestyle needs to avoid all vaccines, and anyone who is pro-life should as well.
Furthermore, they teach your body not to fight infection the way that it normally would. The best vaccines that you can give yourself and your family are a healthy lifestyle rich in nutritious foods.
Yes! A long time ago I agreed with the popular misconceptions, e.g., "I've never had the flu so why would I get the shot?" or "The shot causes the flu," or "The reaction from the shot is worse than the flu itself." Then I got the flu. I've had the shot every year since then, and believe me, the shot is NOT worse than the flu. Although I realize that some people (usually those who are allergic to eggs) do get reactions from the flu shot, I've never had one.
I would look at how many times I actually had the flu in the last 20 years. If I didn't get the flu very often in the last 20 years. I probably would not get it. I would pay more attention to washing my hands and whom I came in contact with if I was really worried about the flu.
No. I got the flu shot one time, and one time only, and I got really sick badly after the shot. Never will I get the shot again. Before I got the shot I only got minor sniffles.
I have been taking a homemade elixer of real juice of a lemon wedge, 2 dashes of hot sauce (like Texas Pete). Put both of these in a 1/4 measuring cup and fill the rim with warm water and then drink it. Do this everyday. According to Dr. Oz it is supposed to detox your liver but the Vitamin C in the lemon must surely help against colds and flu I would think.
I take the juice of 2 lemon wedges instead of 1 just to be on the safe side.

Uninformed people in many parts of the world are still being vaccinated against H1N1 swine flu, despite mounting evidence that the vaccine does not work, that the whole "pandemic" was a hoax, and that the vaccine is more dangerous than the virus. And beware, the H1N1 vaccine is now often...

Every winter season the doctor asks/tells me to 'get a flu shot.' This got me to thinking...How many of us actually got ours?

Six days after allowing my Doctor to talk me in to a flu shot guess what happened? That's right. I came down with the flu. I've heard that if this happens it means we already have the virus and the shot just accelerates the process. Doctor warned me that because of my age I...
