Dr. Oz is the expert on dieting. As far as Sensa goes, Ive not heard anything on that one. I wrote an article outlining Dr Ozs principles behind Raspbery Ketones. He also recommends the HCG diet. My article is http://artist101.hubpages.com/hub/Dr-Oz … eight-Loss There has been actual clinical research on this supplement, I don't recommend anything unless its been proven. (medline plus) the article pertaining to hcg: http://sherriegill.blogspot.com/2012/11 … s-new.html
Again HCG has been proven (medline)

Hi Joan, if you are struggling with your weight and ready to make a radical change I suggest you try Ideal Protein.  Nothing was working for me...NOTHING.  Now I have lost 14 lbs in 4 weeks.  I heard Sensa takes away your appetite because it makes the food unappetizing.  My friend said she simply felt dissatisfied all the time and aggravated.  I am blogging about Ideal Protein.  I also am covering a lot of emotional eating issues that have occured to me since I divorced myself from food (how I feel since getting past the carb detox process and getting rid of the cravings) - Good luck to you on your journey.

The reason I was asking was because I also felt dissatisfied and wanted to know if I was the only one. Thanks for the suggestion about Ideal Protein. I'll look into it.

My wife tried Sensa. She was suckered in by the "research studies" they did to validate the stuff. I read the research, which is some pretty bad science, and I cracked some jokes but she wanted to try it.

After about a month or two, she stopped using the flavor crystals and she admitted that they didn't work at all. They didn't affect her appetite or portion control, and they didn't lead to any significant weight loss. She's not terribly overweight, but (if I remember correctly) her stated goal is to lose about 20 to 30 pounds.

As an observer, I would conclude that a) the crystals are a bunch of snake oil nonsense and b) if you do see any success it's because you've successfully altered your own eating habits. In which case, why waste money on a product that doesn't do anything for you?

Thanks for validating my experience. I had the same experience as your wife and quit taking it, thinking I must have failed some how. Didn't do a darned thing for me either.

I had a friend who tried this for a couple months. She was very excited to try it and thought at first it was working. Maybe it was in her head? Well, anyways it ended up being very expensive and didn't work for her.

I know this is about Sensa, but since others are posting other suggestions, I will too. A few people at my job are doing the Plexus Slim diet. It's a drink mix and I think pills as well. It's a little over $100/month, but according to them, it really works. According to them, you don't eat hardly anything so the cost of it works out. Look into it!
