Do you think smiling is contagious?
Have you found that smiling is contagious? Look forward to hearing your opinion on this subject.
I do think smiling is contagious. When someone smiles at me I can't help but smile back at them.
Yes, I definitely think that smiles are contagious.
When in the mall, if I see a woman looking like she is miserable, I
will comment that her: blouse, shoes, hand bag or even her nail polish
is lovely. I say it with sincerity. It takes only a few seconds and most
always brings a smile to her face.
I am a woman and appreciate any kind comment.
Smiles are free; give away as many as you can!!
DJ.
Thank you for sharing your smiles with others in need. You are wonderful. Keep smiling!!!
I think so, because when in public I try to catch the eye of most of the people that I'm facing and give them a smile, and most times it seems to work.
fastfreta:That is so wonderful. Good for you!!!
You are so right, How could you not smile Baby's are so sweet and when they smile or giggle they ignite that within you too.
Yes, this anonymous poem's sentiment is generally true and the person who can't return a smile is the person who needs it most!
SMILING
Smiling is infectious,
you catch it like the flu.
When someone smiled at me today
I started smiling too.
I passed around the corner,
and someone saw my grin.
When he smiled I realized,
I'd passed it on to him.
I thought about that smile,
then I realized its worth.
A single smile just like mine,
could travel round the earth.
So, if you feel a smile begin,
don't leave it undetected.
Let's start an epidemic quick,
and get the world infected!
That would be great,to start a smiling epidemic. It is so needed these days Great poem!! Thank you for sharing.
This is so beautiful. Someone should start a National Day of Smiling.
A.Lawrence, I had forgotten about this poem.
Super poem. Thanks for putting it out for other to read.
DJ.
I do believe smiling is contagious. When you make eye contact with someone and give a genuine smile it almost always comes back to you in return. In that exchange of smiles there seems to be a brief connection or wordless communication that sends out positive vibes. Somehow your day gets a little brighter with a smile!
I say smiling is really contagious. There is a concept in social psychology called facial feedback hypothesis which roughly says that when you smile, you and your social environment is likely to take a positive attitude.
I love this psychological answer!!!! Great!!! Thanks for answering.

I knew a relative who smiled publically all the time; you'd think he was the nicest person you ever met but in private, he was mean. And other people snap sometimes and act grumpy (and people think, "what a horrible person") but the person is decent and good-hearted. Are you fooled by...

Smile! Do you like smiling on pictures or do you prefer a more serious face?I almost always smile but I'm in between dentist appointments and realize I'm hiding my smile all of sudden. Do you like smiling or do you wanna look sexy or serious? I wonder.

Don't you have a feeling that we fake way too much? Faking smiles?I have come across the information that when "overcompensate" by displaying exaggerated emotions, we begin resent people who "made" us do so. "Smile, smile, smile!" "Leave me alone, I will...
