    Where is your passion?

We all have things that make us light up like a child let our for summer break, what things do this?

my passion comes from the season . When it is hot, i grumpy and profusely sweating, getting up my nerves over small matters. I prefer rainy days, i feel cold, cozy and prefer to stay indoors to do handmade crafts. We don't have meadows or fields with flowers as Western countries do. So, most of us prefer to stay under the air-con and do nothing.

I like teaching and seeing students understand what I am teaching. If students enjoy my teaching style and would rather be in my presence, learning, that to be elsewhere, then this makes me happy. I like writing and seeing people enjoy what I have written also.
I also enjoy research. When one does quality research, especially medically related research, one has actually "created" something new, that is, one has created something that did not exist before. Research also enables one to "make improvements upon" something that already exists. If you can take something that someone else has already invented, or discovered, and make marked improvements upon his or her work, then this is a good thing.
    Regards,
    Dr. Haddox

For summer? Camping, hiking, getting outdoors, the garden etc.  It's like my passion comes alive again in the summer.  I hate winter/spring because it's cold and wet all the time.  Give me a hot summer day anytime over grey and cold.

Also the GREEN smile It's all coming back in my area right now, the trees are all getting their leaves again and I love the punch of color on that first warm sunny day!

    Watching things bloom.
I love seeing all the things I put to bed wake up.
I enjoy the morning in the summer when it's quiet and I can watch the birds and watch the early morning runners.

I prefer fall but as long as we don't get a brutally hot summer I don't mind summer. I feel like getting out but when it hits 95 degrees for days and the air is on it may as well be 2 below with 6 feet of sNow on the ground.

Hmmmmm, and pondering. I agree with JimTxMiller mostly. With jest maybe I left it next to .com - giggle.

I am baffled only because I have declared today a holiday. That said i am in a jovial mood. More sharing, although the question you ask, Alexa Poesia, of which I am thankful as this question does offer much to ponder. Well, I am kinda' stuck more on the word "Where" than that of "is." I know who "your" refers to being "me." And, passion is the "What of" being that of sought with "where," which is the place I am stuck presently.

I think for me answering the second question offers relief of the cognitive dissonance I am experiencing now. What is better for me. What things inspire passion of recent is the process of "Clearing the Mechanism" as demonstrated by the cinema production, "For Love of the Game" with Kevin Costner and Kelly Preston.

This film offers both compassion and passion for the protagonist, Billy Chapel and his plight with making a life changing decision. He does this with passion for his job, which is the position as a Major League Baseball Pitcher, pitching a game transcending to become a perfect game.

The odds of a perfect game pitched is astronomical, yet Billy is oblivious of this as he ponders the decision of accepting being traded from the team he played with his whole career or resigning. The film transitions with each episode as an inning with him preparing to pitch saying internally "Clear the Mechanism."

The camera fades to the budding relationship flowering with the seasons of life between him and the presumed antagonist being Kelly Preston as the symbolic meaning of more than baseball as eros or romantic Love. Yet, the conflict is the Love of the Game, being that of storge or affection vs. Love being that of eros or romantic love, transcending as an action of love - agape or unconditional love.

That love being of phileo or friendship as love is inspiring as it offers inspiration with the film to all of those explored tenses or parts becoming One Love. That action is with a shift in the film as an action of transcendence. The protagonist, Billy, with all his dilemmas in a sense surrenders within that love of Agape, through an action of love as Phileo or friendship.

The protagonist no longer is Billy, becoming something far greater - The Team. The pinnacle is as his long time friend and his partner in those actions of pitching a game in baseball, Gus, the catcher says to him - Just Throw, Billy, Just Throw! The boys are here backing you up all the way! Passion . . .
