    It sounds to me like a very bad idea. Not only has chaparral been shown to not be effective against cancer, chaparral is dangerous when swallowed, potentially harming the liver and/or kidneys. Here's what the American Cancer Society has to say about the herb known as "chaparral:"

    "Chaparral is considered a dangerous herb that can cause irreversible, life-threatening liver damage and kidney damage. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has cautioned against the internal use of chaparral. Research has not found it to be an effective treatment for cancer or any other disease."

      Thank you for you input, I know the tea was banned, but the ban was lifted. May sources say prolonged use is bad, others have found success with it.
