Spending time with my grand kids. We really have fun doing crafts, laughing, watching movies.  Having said that there is one more thing that has made me happy in the past to my detriment and that is eating.  Eating has been very comforting to me and makes me happy. Unfortunately, it is not a good idea to eat for happiness--it definitely carries a high cost.

By seeing people, most especially my family, fulfilling their dreams, and happy just the way they are. And then, by doing what I love and seeing the beauty of life a midst everything.

Playing the piano with my dog listening attentively.

People come and go in life, but I can control the stuff I own. So I guess I'd have to say that my "stuff" also makes me happy/content.

Sitting on a big flat rock next to a fast-moving stream or river and dangling my feet in it on a hot day of hiking.

Hiking on a misty, cool, quiet day, the thud of my hiking boots on solid packed earth mixed with the amplified sounds of nature all around me.

Being not unhappy makes me happy.

Memories of my early years, happy times.

    Feeling strong and capable.

Thinking a new or creative thought; daydreaming.

Writing, reading, movies, songs, sunshine when I am in the shade.

Being recognized as being correct after having initially been judged wrong. (Cassandra)

All of the things I have learned.
