   Freedom and knowing I have options!
   Whenever I feel forced to do something or believe I have no options/choices that weighs heavy on me. It's important to keep things in perspective by always remembering you are in charge of (your) life. Feeling someone or something controls you is stressful.
   We get to choose our own friends, lovers, and spouse. We get to choose who we spend our time with! We get to choose what books we read, music we listen to, and which activities to participate in. Remembering that our lives are for the most part the end result of the choices and decisions we have made is self-empowering.
   When you remind yourself that (you) have the power to say "yes" and "no" you gain a sense of control. It's your life. Take the wheel!
   Calling my own shots makes me happy.

   Meditation and absolute silence makes me happy. It is a mental state beyond all words and the entire world. No problems exist. In fact, nothing at all is there. It is total bliss and freedom. The Zen Masters call it, the state of consciousness before you were born. Prior to all thoughts.

   I believe, I am truly happy while walking my dog on a beautiful day or talking to my mother on the phone. Just looking at life in a positive manner, makes me feel like I can take on the world.
