Does our loved one in Heaven miss those of us he/she has left behind?
We on earth are most often devastated when someone we dearly love dies...even if we believe he/she is in Heaven. I wonder if the person in Heaven is sad and misses us also? Even though they are supposed to be very happy. If we miss he/she, don't they also miss us?
The answer to this question is almost impossible to believe for those without faith; however, I think that the whole purpose of heaven is to live in eternal happiness: to be reunited with the ones we love, live eternally without pain, fear, and sadness. I think the reason why we miss those that we lose is because we have no way of seeing them, contacting them, and asking whether or not if they are okay. Ultimately, I think that those in heaven can see us, watch over us, and that is why they do not miss us. They know one day we will be able to reunite once again.
I wonder that...there is not supposed to be tears in heaven. I suppose that being in the direct presence of God would be overwhelming, and that knowing they'd be waiting for you would give them something to look forward to.
I don't believe they do and I don't think they know anything going on with us. We naturally think things like you ask but there is nothing I have ever read to make me think that and just knowing my loved ones are finally at peace makes me happy and I will see them when I get there; I do believe that.
Hi, Lea,
Wanted to let you know I wrote quite an extensive answer to your question.
I even wrote a poem that was included.
The prompt below has a "preview answer". I decided to see how it would appear on this page and hit the preview answer. I was satisfied with the
way it appeared and looked for the "submit answer", which could not be found. (No the green submit answer was nowhere to be found.)
Since it was a rather lengthy answer, I thought maybe the HP gods had to approve my answer. After some time, I left this site.
My answer is nowhere to be found.
So, for anyone answering this question, do not "preview answer" or it will
leave, never to be seen again.
I've had my say.
My answer to your question is, "No".
DJ.
No sorrow, no sadness no worries, just there worshiping GOD, singing beside the Angels, no and I'm so glad, otherwise Heaven wouldn't be any happier than here.
I wonder the same thing. There's supposed to be only happiness in Heaven, but if I were there right now, I'd miss my parents and feel bad that they'd be grieving. Who knows?

Why are we here on Earth ?What am i supposed to do here ?that's a spiritual kind of question. But it's haunting me since morning. Everyday we wake up, go to work and then get to sleep. Is that's only the life ? Only this much ? What is your opinion ?

Do you think animals go to heaven when they pass away?According the Ecclesiastes 3:19-21 all men and animals come from the dust and go to the dust, that humans have no advantage over the animals. Does this mean beloved pets also go to heaven when they pass on? Wouldn't that be wonderful?

The Rapture has already happened & you are left behind in purgatory limbo - fighting the risen dead(zombies) and the only escape into heaven is to sacrifice yourself for another - would you die for a stranger to go to heaven - or be too scared to be be turned into a zombie to only help yourself?

Do you agree with this? It seems to me that some of the holier than thou christians on this site legitimately believe with all their heart that those who do not believe in their god will have special front row tickets to hell/eternal punishment, yet still try to play off that their god is just and...

When "No Child Will Be Left behind " began I was invited to several meetings. The main speakers said that education should be like private industry. It was also said that Japan & Germany were leaving us far behind. We were told that educators focus should be on getting all children in...
