    I take Flax Seed Oil capsules daily and I dropped my statins due to the ever increasing health concerns being discovered by the Medical industry. At some point, you must decide of certain drugs are worth their side-effects. DON

      Just taking Flaxseed oil brought it down? I never heard of that.

    I take Co-Q 10 and Red yeast rice.  My doctor was so surprised when it dropped over 50 points.  smile

      I've read about these supplements and take coq10 now. How long did it take to drop 50 points?

      Stacie,  I believe it was 6 months, it was a followup because my cholesterol was so high.

    I take Activated Charcoal which plays a role in trapping toxins in your body and by cholesterol and blood pressure have gone down.  I took me about 2-3 weeks.  Just a warning it might make the color of your stools darker-this is normal

      You ingest activated charcoal? It sounds awful I must say but if it works then keep it up.

      It comes as a capsule so you don't taste anything.  I wouldn't just eat charcoal out of the bag.  You can get it at a health food store
