Have you ever got to a point in your life where you think you don't really care if you live or die?

I really don't care about live or die because I satisfied with what i have in my life. I am happy about it.if we care about death we can't live our present life happily. So enjoy what is happening at present good or bad. Nothing is permanent joy or sorrow.

As humans we can not help to be effected by our enviroment of earth period. We can get discourage some times , upset over problems and situations we can do nothing about.
But we should never forget our life is a continued gift and each day is granted. What we do in it is up to us.but we should use it wise .Many lives have ended and they have to waite until the resurrection hope to continue life on a cleaned up earth.2Peter 3:13 .
We can use our time now to get to know our creator and work toward being a future citizen under Jesus rulership
What happy times lay ahead for us who keep in race of the goal of eternal life .

This is a cool question. If you skip over the serious person who is suicidal, then it takes on simply the idea of being afraid of death. If you have a notion of a place like a heaven then nothing is to fear. So in a sense I haven't cared for quite sometime.

Well Eric, my Friend. The fear is sometimes of the suffering. The shadows are too deep, take hold and the individual can lose sense of awareness and wish to go to the beyond. I am taught that it is generally not better for such beings.

No, I haven't. I do not generally preach here Stella, I only strive to inspire. But what do you think of this?

The body is an instrument of a Higher Source. It's purpose is to serve; to praise; to adore; to adulate and manifest God in this earthy arena called Life. To surrender it is to insult God and my understanding is that the suffering on the other side is greater for that Soul, than it is here.

Let us say that we do not know that. But the risk is there, right? Fear and depression are deadly enemies and anyone can have them. So I actually empathise. At the same time I'm saying that you are very special, very unique, and have a lot to offer to the world.

In your better moments, you can reflect on this, adding some positive affirmation, mixing with optimists, and with a reliance on God's Grace, all will be well. Much Love, Stella. What a cute smile!!

Very well put. I said as much to someone recently who had suicidal thoughts. He believes in God so I said If you kill yourself  you might just be told that you have to live a life all over again encountering the same problems until you get it right.

Yes, this is the teaching of the Saints. No hard and fast rule as with so many things, but generally the Soul suffers much more. My Teacher described it as like being fried in oil. It's that bad!

Yes, as a reaction to overwhelming grief. After the initial shock is over, the funeral has been arranged and executed, and everyone has gone home there is a time when the loss just weighs down on you so heavily you can barely move. You don't want to open your eyes in the morning because as long as they're closed you can pretend your life is still whole. Eventually you have to open your eyes, get up, and go through the motions of living. It's very easy to not care during this time but one day you hear the birds singing again and you open your eyes to see the sunshine and whether you like it to or not, you know life goes on taking you with it.

I think most of us come to this point eventually.

Life is cruel, and there sometimes comes a point where the desire to live does not outweigh the natural fear of death.
