   Does God really care?
   
   In life we all often face very many challenges. Some leave us distressed, others leave us bitter, and some leave our spirits crushed. In all these, we always want to run to some higher power, one that will console us, provide with the solution or take us through the whole ordeal with some form of cushioning. Those who trust in God often run for him for this. However. in certain cases one may feel like God does not really care, or he is too busy for us. When going through such, do you often feel like God does not really care? How do you handle such?

   Yes, many have a "Crisis Christ," who only seek Him during difficult times, but there is consolation in the Word of God! 
   
   In order for one to sustain "natural" life, "food" and "drink" is necessary!  Likewise, in order to sustain "spiritual" life, "Food" and "Drink" is also necessary! 
   
   GOD SAID in Isaiah 26:3-4 "Thou wilt keep him in "perfect peace," whose mind is STAYED on thee; because he trusteth in thee. (4) Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength!"
   
   We awake, feed the "natural," but do we "Feed" our spirits?  Instead of running first to the computer, why not open the Bible and "Feed" our spirits (daily) as well?
   
   GOD created us with His own Hands!  He loves us!  He has a "plan" for each of us!  Jeremiah 29:11 says "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."  It may not seem He's there, but "He's working" all toward that "expected end!" 
   
   Don't forget!  He DIED for us!!! John 15:13-14 says "Greater LOVE hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.  (v14) Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you."

   It's as if God doesn't exist at all. When I was younger, I prayed all the time. I prayed because I truly needed divine intervention. I was told that God would answer ALL prayers. Still nothing changed. For years nothing changed. Then I began to shout at God, pleading with him to honor his claim. Then I became enraged at God, then I learned to just forget about God. Years later, as an adult, it all started to make sense. I was putting false hope in a God that was NEVER there. Worthless!

   I was a devout Christian most of my life.  Growing up in a ghetto, I dealt with this dissonance by squelching this thought.  As an adult, this led to my inadvertently joining a cult, putting my life in danger.  I questioned God for years, with no answer.  After realizing billions of people far worse off than me have also questioned God, with the same result, I have come to the conclusion He either doesn't exist, or is nothing like Christianity portrays Him. 
   This leaves me with the enormous task of sorting everything out myself.  Ultimately, we all have to do that, whether we admit it or not.  Faith in God works for some, but they need to respect the fact that it doesn't work for everyone.

      The man who sang "God Is An Awesome God" Rich Mullins(a devout Christian)was killed in a horrific accident. Just horrific! I'm sure he prayed daily for God to keep him safe. I can't have blind faith in a God who behaves in such stupefying ways.

      Absolutely. You are joining the plane of analytics with the plane of spirituality. They do not mix. God is love. Love is God. Omnipotent and omnipresent. The closest we can perceive is love but even that is limited by perception. God is greater.

       My logic? I have a degree in philosophy. There is not logic to heinous acts of sick individuals. Why in the world would an all knowing God permit it to happen? If I were God I could answer that. F*** why? I do not get it. How can it be?

       GUYS: People can "CHOOSE" to do ANYTHING that want (Josh 24:15) that's MY ALL LOVING GOD!  However, HE left u "instructions" (Bible)!

       Great we are agreed. God is not a logical construct. God is omnipotent and omnipresent and has no need to be logical. You go be logical, I support you. But leave faith alone because you do not get it.

       MM: Prov 3:5 "Lean NOT to your OWN understanding..."  U trust "the creation more than THE CREATOR" (Rm 1:22;25)?
       Pls furnish a book written BEFORE Bible w/as many "accurate" fulfilled prophecies as Bible.
