How much amount of weight loss per week would you consider as sustainable weight loss?
Two pounds per week is considered the maximum a person should lose and remain healthy. Sadly, most people want weight loss to happen instantly, like everything else they want these days, and will do stupid things to make the scales go down faster. The most important thing to remember about weight loss is that if you don't change your eating habits, the weight will return. So while you're losing the two pounds a week you should also be adjusting to a new diet and a new lifestyle.
Anything over a pound a week is hard to sustain and likely to be gained back.
