How do you deal with difficult 5yr old son behavior?
The behaviors have been learned at school and and he doesn't act out at school just at home. What can I do to stop these.
perhaps you could bring it to the teachers attention. also another thing I have learned is to choose your battles. lets say you son came home from school and put everything where it needed to be and then turned on the tv without asking. if you think about it he did things that you normally ask him to do so just don't even worry about the tv being on. I hope you understand what I am trying to say anyway. goodluck
I have brought it to the teachers attention. The behaviors are hitting himself, licking others, throwing things, screaming/ screeching while I am driving because he wants my attention. I have tried ignoring him, putting him in time out, talking to hm
does he have siblings? cause that could be a reach for attention. negative attention is still attention.
