How to converse to a gambler?
Gambling becomes a problem if one doesn't know how to stop it. How do you approach the person to let them know you have had enough and that they must seek help or you are out?
Devika, You kind of left out the important thing here. Is she a winning gambler who works with skill, or is she a degenerate that spends the rent money?
And the second is like the first that people often miss; Is it card gambling type stuff or gambling like an adrenaline junkey.
But if you think it harmful the only way is with a 6 or more intervention. They can argue out of it with one, remembering all addicts are great liars, but six is not likely.
