Are you a gambler or absolutely indifferent to gambling?
I don't partake in it myself because gambling is a tax on the mathematically illiterate.
I don't gamble as I've known a couple of gambling addicts and they had houses with virtually no furniture as they had sold it all, and lighter rectangles on the wallpaper where they had taken the pictures down to sell them. I've heard of gambling as a profession, but it didn't look to me like a good option.
Gambling is not really an intelligent activity to me, unless done for socializing - but then, the gambling part would be a pastime, not taken for a purpose itself, something not to be taken seriously, just something to relax and enhance interpersonal contact. People have picnics as well as raffles to socialize.
