I have been recovering from a knee sprain and I don't know how it happened. I was walking my regular daily rounds on that morning also. But, then, it started aching from the afternoon onward. I consulted Doctor after 3 days and took medicines for 5 days. Was doing the hot bag and ice pack therapy also for one week. Now, after full 15 days I feel much relieved. Now doing quadriceps prescribed by the doctor for knee health.

Venkatachari, sorry you have gone through such knee pain, but glad it is improving. I have been through similar which lasted a couple of months. I began taking glucosamine and it has helped dramatically.

So, you too suffered a lot of it. I don't know whether I can take Glucosamine. I searched for it. It says people with eye issues should not take it. I have tiny cataracts in my eyes which need to be addressed. I don't know whether it can be an issue for glucosamine. I got another strip of Deflazacort 6mg tablets and Signoflam tablets. I had one round of it previously and stopped for 5 days. But now thought of having it for 5 more days.

Okay, Venkat. Don't take it without a doctor's advice.

Thank you, Rosina, for the well wishes. I am recovering and started my walking exercise but with small rounds.

    Hello Venkatachari ji,
Sorry to know about your knee pain.
Physiotherapy is the best way to treat such issues, of course in accordance with the doctor's advice. Medicines do give temporary relief to ease pain.
As we age, our flexibility decreases and it's important to do mobility exercises under the expert's guidance.
    Wish you all the best.

True, Chitra. Our muscles and bones weaken as we age. I am doing some quadriceps as per my Doctor's advice. Started my daily walks also since the last 3 days. He prescribed hamstring exercises also but I will do it after gaining some confidence.
