Research to find the best medicine to fight the HIV virus was never finished. A recent study found a natural chemical in bananas can help protect women against sexual transmission of HIV.
Too true! The scary this is that most people will conclude from this study that bananas WILL prevent (as in 100%) them from contracting aids ... when the study actually says it will only reduce the change of transmission. 'Keeping your legs closed' as you put it, is probably the best way to prevent most cases.
It inhibits the virus, yes, I heard about it. Interesting and hopefully a new drug to be developed.
Well isn't it funny how things complete a full circle??
Perhaps if they had never jumped the African Monkey with a banana in the first place, the damn virus wouldn't have adapted to what it has
Thanks for posting this1 I'm going to see if I can access the journal article for this tonight. Apparently the results are comparable to the main HIV drugs being used at the moment. Mother Nature does it again : )
