Hi Guidebaba, as a wholistic health coach and practitioner in training I offer a very comprehensive set of articles at mercola.com for you to read as one source to find alternative ways to deal with diabetes.

Many people can be cured by lifestyle changes of diet, exercise, weight loss, etc., and others can significantly lessen the disease's affects on their system. Yes, many people are not helped, but further hindered by pharmaceutical drugs, but because we are all unique individuals in our state of health or illness, we must use reason and intuition to determine what works best for us.

Find a natural health practitioner (a Naturopath or a oriental medicine practitioner, for instance) and a mainstream medical doctor if you wish, that will work with you and your father to determine his unique needs.

Start with reading Mercola.com articles and go from there.

Our best health and wellness insurance is our being a part of the answer and not leaving it totally up to someone else to decide for us what we need.

      Take Care,

      SparklingJewel

Sorry Guidebaba for your father’s condition.

It’s good you have consulted a professional medical doctor on this. That's where you'll get the best treatment.

However, include Karela (Bitter gourde) and stinging nettle in his diet. Do NOT give your father a cow's urine.

If your medical doctor says there is a permanent cure, then there is.

Funny you should post this today.  I just read an article in the paper today about a clinic in Australia which has cured several diabetics.

Type 1 diabetics cannot be cured.  Type 2 diabetes is reversible if the person loses weight, takes exercise and eats a proper diet. Type 2 diabetes is often triggered by being overweight and when the person gets back to normal weight and becomes fit, they also get over the diabetes.

Thank you Marisa for stopping and replying. Other people seem to be interrested in something else. I truly thank you and appreciate your comments. I will find out if my Dad is suffering from Type-1 or Type-2. But he has lost some weight (around 8-10 Kgs). I pray that this be Type-2 Diabetes. Thank you once again.

Pray things work out for your father. My husband turned out to be a Type-2 diabetic. Never would have ever thought that for him. I am thankful he don't have to take insulin.
Been in nursing about all my life and see alot of problems associated with this disease.  Good luck and keep the faith.

According to ancient knowledge, half the types of diabetes
(Madhuprameha) can be cured. Unfortunately, a large proportion of
patients found now-a-days belong to incurable (asadhya, type 1) or
controllable (kashtsadhya) type of diabetes. And since they get
attracted to diabetes industry referred to the article quoted in the
reference message, word "cure" has entirely disappeared from diabetes
world. In what follows, discussion pertains mainly to Type 2 diabetes.

Cow urine is a powerful medicine as suported by ancient texts. It restores the
intelligence of body cells to use the glucose in presence of insulin. The
author gives some ways to try for a cure below, for those who can get
cow urine of Indian cow in the neighbourhood. If few such lucky ones
read this mail, how to obtain this urine will be told to them if
there is a request. Since prakruti of a person can not be judged
remotely, the patients can undertake this trial and see if they find
    significant benifits.

    1. Soak 25 grams Fenugreek seeds (Methi) overnight in cow urine.
Remove seeeds in the morning, grind them to fine paste and add half a
glass of water. Mix in four drops of lime juice and drink empty
stomach early morning. After 10 days, reduce the quantity of seeds to
10 grams and after six weeks to 5 grams. If after 12 weeks, blood
sugar is normalized, let two weeks pass without medicine, check again
and if no difference, you are free of diabetes. These remarks also
apply to other receipe given further. If you find blood glucose does not
    fluctuate much, stop the medicine.

    2. In an alternative procedure, only 10 gram seeds soaked for 12-14 hours can
be used twice a day, about 15-20 minutes before food. Those who can
tolerate bitterness of fenugreek seeds can take them without lime
    juice.

The receipe 1 and 2 give significant benifits to CAD (Cardiovascular
Arteri Disease) patients also. Reduction of Cholesterol, reduced LDL
and increased HDL have been observed.

    3. Remove thick skin of Karela (Bitter gourde), juice it and take 10
gram of juice along with 10 ml of fresh cow urine early morning empty
stomach. For daily use, dried skin of Karela can be ground and used 6
gram powder with 10 ml cow urine with honey, morning and evening.
Those suffering from Joint pains, vertigo, extra thirst, extra
hunger, low body weight, exhaustion, epilepsy, should not use Karela
since excess use of karela can increase pitta and benifits will be
    negative.

    4. Take 10-15 Tender leaves of Jamun tree, grind them and soak them in 10
ml urine of she calf. After half an hour drink empty stomach. In the
season when Jamun fruit is available, eating 20-40 fruit empty
stomach is very beneficial for diabetics and those suffering from
Jaundice. The seeds of Jamun tree can be dried after eating the
pulp, powdered and 5-10 grams of this powder can be taken along with
10 ml cow urine for three months.

    5. Similarly, Bail leaves 10-15 in number can be ground and taken with
10 ml cow urine or can be boiled in cow urine and ingested. Boiling
should be till the point where color of the leaves is brownish. Bail
leaves are benificial in curing diabetes. Bail leaves are offered to Lord Shiva
in India, have three leaves occuring together.

    6. Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow, India, has carried out a
number of tests on Kadu Chirait herb and found to be very useful in
curing diabetes. In most of Jain temples in Mumbai, India, the
decoction of this herb is available throughout the day. This
decoction is useful for chronic fever, discentry, jaundice also. The
decoction can be prepared at home with cow urine to increase its effectiveness.

    7. Lastly, the most important diabetes herb is Gudmar or Gulmar. Its
8-10 leaves along with a small piece of Beheda (Vibhitaki) fruit skin
and 10 gm Jamun seed powder with 5 ml cow urine can be ground
together or decoction taken early morning and evening. 10-15 minutes
    before food is also OK.

    8. For those who can not obtain urine of a healthy, grass eating cow
in the neighbourhood, Goushalas in Maharashtra, Rajastan, Punjab,
Haryana, U.P. now prepare a distillate of Cow urine along with
herbs described so far and is sold as 'Gudmaradi Ark'. Just 10 ml of this ark,
along with tablets made from solid residue of distillation,
termed 'Madhuvati' are available. Depending upon the intensity of
diabetes, the dosage thrice, twice or only once a day have been found
    satisfactory.

    9. To answer the question of permanency of cure, a few cases taking
medicine mentioned in para 8, after three months of medicines,
reduced dose to half. after six months, to 25% and those engaged in
physical work could stop the medicine altogether nine months. One
such person, located in a village close to Mumbai, does not take
anything as medicine now. But walks six kilo-meters early morning.
All calories are utilised. Hence it is not a question of medicine
neutralising glucose, it is body using glucose. The intelligence of
cells to utilise glucose must be restored with cow urine, an
intelligent natural product, and once restored, use calories produced.
Else you should regulate diet, just sufficient for sedantary
    lifestyle.

Hi guidebaba...maybe you could try this - there are people who swear by it!

Take two okras (bhindi) and cut off both ends. Make a small incision in the middle and put both in a glass of water. Cover the glass and keep it at room temperature through the night. Early morning, before breakfast, discard the okras and drink that water on an empty stomach. Do this everyday – you’ll see the improvement in two weeks. It’s also good for general health and memory.
