While I very much appreciate your interest and no doubt abilities, having only been here 7 hours you would understand why I would not give out this very personal information, but nor would I to anyone I did not know.  Again, thank you

    Kimberly,
I am sorry to hear of your pain sad I wish I knew of home remedies but unfortunately I do not.  Does drinking a lot of water help? My honey has had kidney stones from his medication (and not drinking enough water to flush them through but he prefers to blame just the meds.)  He had no choice but to go to hospital as he thought he had appendicitis the first time.  He was hospitalized for a few days and they gave him a lot of fluid through IV.  They put a stent in to see if it would pass but still did not.  He ended up having to go back and have it blasted out.
Please do us and yourself a favor and promise us to go to the hospital if it gets worse? I have heard they can cause major damage if bad enough.

I wish you a speedy recovery and if I find anything online that sounds trustworthy, I will definitely share with you!

kimberly I had them one time and it was probably the calcium or some other mineral in the water. Could be diet too. Look girl,-- that is some of the worst pain a person can have. Can they not confirm them at the hospital and give you proper pain relief until they pass? Tylenol is a joke with kidney stones. Wish you the best and a friend that had them told me she walked around a lot- if you can- and that helped her with the pain.

OMG Alastar, the pain is bad enough for pain pills now and that's just touching the pain.  I am a recovering addict so have been avoiding any mood altering chemicals - but this I'd rather stick a cigarette on my eye!  Thank you for your support and btw I am posting this while walking around-even if I am slouched over lol

      You Rock!

      Cheers!

I just came by to see how you are feeling but it sounds like you may be feeling worse? They can blast them at the hospital if it is a big stone (I know I don't like hospitals either-ok so usually they have to drag me kicking and screaming.)  Still no fever I hope? The best thing I have found so far is plenty of water and being active.  Not sure how they expect you to be active, I have heard that it can be a horrible pain.

Try taking ibuprofen it will work a lot better than tylenol, which at best is just a joke when it comes to pain relief. A heat pad or hot water bottle will also help. Whatever you don't let it go too long. Kidney stones, especially if they become lodged can be serious. My husband had a kidney stone that became lodged a few years ago and the doctor said if we hadn't sought medical attention when we did he might have lost the kidney.
Good luck and I hope you get better soon.

You could try putting that cigarette on your eye, no doubt it would give you something else to focus on.  lol

On a serious note, I'm sorry you're miserable.  My husband has gone through this and can now relate to giving birth (although the outcome is not nearly as cute!).  I know he was told to drink lots of liquids to speed up its journey out.

Pain relief wise, I wish I could give you a good suggestion.  Personally, I'd opt for the hospital if this keeps going on.  It could be stuck and need intervention.

    Feel better.

I'm sorry for you, but in my opinion, this is just too much info and more than anyone needs to share outside of a doctor's office.  I think you should be talking to your medical practitioner about this and not seeking help or advice here in the forums.
