Pick's disease is a rare form of Alzhemier's that attacks the frontal lobe of the brain.  This disease affects short term memory instead of long term memory.  I am trying to get more awareness out there about this disease because it is so rare.  My mom passed away in 2010 from this disease.

      ********

Actually it's a rare form of dementia that causes a slow shrinking of brain cells.
      It's misdiagnosed as Alzheimer's disease.

Yes, at first they thought my mom had dementia.  It was later determined that she actually had Pick's.  After she passed away, they confirmed that she definitely had Pick's disease.
