Celebrities and Famous Dads Who Rock. Rockers come and go, but some leave their mark. Some of the worlds famous rockers are/were Jimi Hendrix, Elvis Presley, James Brown, members of "The Beatles", Queen and many more. Yes rockers are dad too, ya know (of course). In this hub, I will feature celebrity and famous dad who rock. I mean those who can rock it out, rockers, and yes they are dads, not duds, real dads. Well, rockers have been said to invite women into their lives, being a rocker is a come on -- that's according to some women who likes rockers because they are perceived to be 'cool'. Being a true dad is another thing, it is beyond being "cool".

This hub is in celebration of Father's Day which is celebrated in the whole world at different times. In the US it is celebrated every 3rd Sunday of June. This is for all who experienced having a dad, dad to be, dad and grand dad, moms who have a dad. In fact everybody who have been touched by a dad whether they are the FATHER GOD, step dad, true dad or the one you consider dad. Lucky is the world because we have dads, Happy Fathers Day!

Like I have said there are many more rockers who are famous and you are free to add them here provided they have children or they became a father figure. Included in this hub are : Steven Tyler, Mick Jagger, Benj Madden, Bono, Bon Jovi, Paul Mc Cartney, Bruce Springsteen, Gavin Rossdale, Bret Michaels and David Grohl.

Sir Mick Jagger was born Michael Philip Jagger on 26 July 1943 in England. He is an English musician, singer-songwriter and record producer. he is best known to be the lead vocalist of " The Rolling stones". He is also a producer.

Mick Jagger's personal life is controversial, he is often have the style that counters the culture, his drug problems and being a ladies man (mostly being a rocker itself is a come on to women) he fathered seven children to four women, four sons and three daughters as follows :

• Marsha Hunt -- daughter Karis Hunt Jagger (born 4 November 1970).
• Bianca Jagger -- daughter jade Jagger (born 21 October 1971)
• Jerry Hall -- daughter Elizabeth Jagger (born 2 March 1984), son James Leroy Augustin Jagger (born 28 August 1985), daughter Georgia May Ayeesha Jagger (born 12 January 1992)
• Lucianan Jimenez -- son Lucas Maurice Morad Jagger (born 18 May 1999)

Gavin Rossdale was born on 30 October 1965. He is a British lead singer and rhythm guitarist of the rock band Bush and later on become the lead singer as well as guitarist for the band Institute. He is more popularly known as the husband of Gwen Stefani a fellow musician -- rocker.

They have two sons together named Kingston (the first one) and Zuma the youngest which was born two years apart. (2006 and 2008). Gavin Rossdale is said to be a good father, he aways carry his two sons wherever he goes. In an interview he said that "Kingston liked accompanying him on tour, but when Rossdale was on tour without him, Kingston plus the young kid "played my video while I was on the road and ran around the room and scream the word 'Dada.'

Joel Rueben Madden was born Joel Rueben Combs on March 11, 1979. He is an American musician, lead singer of the pop punk band Good Charlotte, dj, record producer and an actor. he first dated Hillary Duff, but they broke up and he started a relationship with Nicole Richie daughter of Lionel Richie -- They have two children together, a daughter and a son.

In February, 2010, Richie announced that she and Madden are engaged to be married.

Stephen Victor Tallarico who was born on March 26, 1948 and is better known as Steven Tyler is the frontman and lead singer of the rock band Aerosmith. Aside fomr being a musician, he is also a songwriter and can play many instruments. he was very controversial, same with mick Jagger as they are hooked on drugs and, Steve Tyler is also into alcohol.

During his high-energy stage performances, "he usually dresses in bright, colorful outfits with his trademark scarves hanging from his microphone stand, and was recently named 99th on Rolling Stone's 100 greatest singers, plus he is also ranked 3rd on Hit Parader's Top 100 Metal Vocalists of All Time".

He is the dad of Liv Tyler, a beautiful model and American actress. He is also a dad to three other children, all in all three daughters and one son from three different mothers. Liv Tyler adore his dad.

Bret Michaels was born Bret Michael Sychak onMarch 15, 1963. He is just recuperating from a suffered a massive subarachnoid hemorrhage -- which is a critical condition which luckily he survived last month April 2010.

He is an American singer -- lead vocalist of the glam metal band Poison, he has solo credits to his name. He also participated in the Celebrity Apprentice.He is also a known Steelers fan -- a football team in the NFL.

After a near death experience he has this to say with the mother of her two children and for his family ---- as quoted from the interview with the Jam Music "Kristi's such a great person. We'll see if that happens. But yes, that may be one of the big things on the list. My first goal is to get back (to) 100 per cent. I want to continue to rock the world, and I want to continue to love my family and be a good father".

Bono is Paul David Hewson and was born 10 May 1960 and is more popularly known as Bono -- Irish led singer of the band U2. he met his wife Ali Hewson while attending school in Dublin, Ireland. Personally I like Bono as he is philanthropistand helped different organization and he is helping charities.

According to wikipedia Bono "writes almost all U2 lyrics, often using political, social, and religious themes".

The couple have four children: daughters Jordan (b. 10 May 1989) and Memphis Eve (b. 7 July 1991) and sons Elijah Bob Patricius Guggi Q (b. 18 August 1999) and John Abraham (b. 21 May 2001.

Jon Bon Jovi was born John Francis Bongiovi, Jr. on March 2, 1962. he is an American actor musician and a songwriter. He found the band Bon Jovi and the lead singer of it, plus the band Philadelphia Soul.

According to wikipedia "he has released two solo albums and eleven studio albums with his band which have sold over 120 million albums worldwide". he was nominated at Golden Globe and Oscars Academy. He also campaigned for such politicians such as Obama, John Kerry and al Gore, all for Presidential elections, he is into charity works as well.

His journey with his family life is admirable, he has been loyal to his childhood sweetheart with whom they have four children: Stephanie Rose, Jesse James, Jake and Romeo.

David Eric "Dave" popualrly known as David Grohl was born on January 14, 1969. He is an American rocker, musician, -- singer and songwriter. He began his career as a drummer specifically the hardcore band Scream. He became the drummer for Nirvana as well. He later on became the frontman and songwriter of Foo Fighters following the death of Nirvana front man Kurt Cobain.

He has two daughters with his current wife.

Bruce Frederick Joseph Springsteen was born on September 23, 1949 is an American singer, activist ad a songwriter. He is nicknamed The Boss. He records and tours with the E Street Band and is "widely known for his brand of heartland rock infused with pop hooks, poetic lyrics". His first biggest hit is Born in the USA.

He is married and has three (two daughters and a son) children, a daughter who is a champion equestrienne.

Sir James Paul McCartney, was born on 18 June 1942. He belonged to the most successful music group in the history  -- The Beatles. He is an English singer-songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist, entrepreneur, record and film producer, poet, painter and activist. The Guinness World Records stated that McCartney is the most successful songwriter in the history of popular music with 60 gold discs and sales of 100 million singles in the UK.

He had three daughters and a son (biologically), and an adopted daughter.
