Costumes For Your Halloween Party

Halloween means a time for parties and there are a lot of parties celebrating the night with a special theme party.

Guests will arrive wearing costumes related to horror and Halloween.

You'll see Witches, Ghosts, Goblins, Ogres, Monsters, Dracula, Frankenstein, and lots more of ghoulish characters.

What will you wear to make you stand out and be original?

Will there be a best dressed Halloween Costume competition? Are you going to buy your outfit or make one?

Here are some ideas for what to wear to a Halloween party. You can buy your costumes and accessories like fake blood, trick or treat bags, fake teeth and so on. Or you can make your own witches or wizards costumes.

And you can buy or wear Halloween masks as well. Wear a cat or a monster mask to add to your costume.

Whatever you decide to wear going to a Halloween party is a lot of fun. There's usually something scary going on. Either a movie, a haunted house game, who dunnit or a witches tale. Being dressed appropriately adds to the them and makes a great party.

Are you going to make your own costumes? If so, you may want to make a quick outfit at the last minute or you may have already prepared one beforehand. Here are a few Halloween creative ideas for costumes.

Find some black velvet and cut into a cape shape (rectangular shape). Cut 2 holes at the 2 top front sides. Pull some red ribbon through and tie up into a bow.

Get some Halloween makeup and whiten you face with talc. Then add black eye shadow or creme liner around your eyes making your eyelids look grey. Dot some red eye shadow or creme blush around the corners of your eyes to give them a red vein look.

Get 2 pairs of fishnet tights. Wear one and use the other for wearing fingerless gloves and a lace style scarf.

Want to create even more of a scary effect?

Find a large black round saucepan you can u for a cauldron. If you don't have one try the largest bowl or saucepan you have and if you don't need it anymore paint it in black. Create a green pea ghoulish soup and serve it to your guests. You could also have a witches broth of spicy black bean soup as well.
