Witches Just Wanna Have Fun!
On Halloween night
The witches take flight
They get on their broom
And fly past the moon
Looking for fun and not any harm
All dressed in black and so full of charm
They wait for this night all Hallows eve
To wish salutations to all who believe
A bat, an owl, the occasional black cat
The witch cackles past them tipping her hat
The witch has oft been misunderstood
Being labeled as evil and all that’s not good
But like all the goblins on Halloween night
They just wanna have fun and share in the fright
A witch is a witch now don’t get me wrong
But unless she is crossed she will not sing her curse song
So all trick or treaters please heed my tale
You don’t want to hear the witches cold wail
A bit of a warning about the witches of fright
When you go out on Halloween night
Be kind to the witch as she saunters by
She means no harm or evil she just wants to fly
She has waited all year to let her hair down
Just pay her no mind and please do not frown
If you are lucky enough tho to converse with witches
You will find they are fun and will leave you in stitches
Funny and charming and not full of gloom
The misunderstood witch is friends with the moon
For it gives them the energy their broom needs to soar
So be kind to the witch do not be a bore
Its Halloween night, with all of its loons
There are goblins and ghouls by the light of the moon
But the witch is a girl who just wants to have fun
So don’t insult a witch and you will live to see the sun.
