For kids, I'm voting for the Zhu Zhu as they are already impossible to find!

My must have Christmas gift would be a new job and to get debt free which would relieve stress.  I hope everyone who has a job is thankful for that, and remember try not to complain because tomorrow you may not have one.  I believe we all forget that Christmas is about giving to people we love and care about. We can give many things that doesn't have a high price tag.  Do something for someone that they can't or might not do for themselves.  I have a big wish list, besides getting a job, paying off bills, spending time with my children, and just enjoying the simple things that the season brings. If you believe in Christ or God, you can be reassured that, IT IS THE SEASON FOR GIVING, not only peace, love, but give to those who are not home, that are stationed away from their family for one reason or another, send them a gift or a care package.  Talk to your local military recruiter to see how you can help, talk to a local homeless shelter. GIVING IS BETTER than receiving.  Hope you all have a great Holiday season, Thanksgiving and Christmas and hopefully America will start a new year better than the last. GO 2010.
Can you believe it, it will be the year Two Thousand and Ten, Wow.

It looks like this year everyone is going crazy over the release of DJ Hero, so that would be my pick for the must have Christmas gift of this year.

Probably the Droid. If it performs nearly as well as the ads for it, it will be awesome...

PSP 3 is my pick for kids & adults who love gaming or who want to watch movies in the car or anywhere at all.

Great graphics & a nice big screen too.

That's easy - it's my own T-Shirt design - "I'm not buying Christmas Gifts in 2012" - now go out and buy it before they all go LOL

Seriously, with some of the cheap laptops available nowadays, especially the ones sporting Windows 7, and the reduction in price of gaming consoles such as the XBOX 360 and Playstation, it'll be something electronic.

I suspect a gaming console, although something like the 'droid' could be the surprise winner this year.

There doesn't seem to be a 'stand out' item this year - nothing really new that 'everyone' just mus have - maybe Lego Rock Band?

While DJ Hero is so hot right now, given the current state of the economy, I'd say that DIY gift ideas are the way to go this year for most people.  Let's start a $10-and-under-gift revolution!  Put together family photo albums, make bead necklaces, make mix cds, and promise foot massages!

Kindle for the readers, organic toys or Leap Frog tag reader for the kids, and New Moon (movie) stuff for teenaged girls.  Two guys on my list are reqesting baseball caps with team logos.  I haven't noticed any must-have items for women.

I'm not sure of the exact name but I believe the present of the year (at least for kids) is an artificial pet hamster.  I have read that stores have literally run out of this "hamster".
Mark my words, it will be the hamster.

it depends on the age and the likes. For adults, kindle. Children, age appropriate toys. Wife and partners, husbands, something romantic. Techno favorite -- ipad.

I thought of gifting mom a dishwasher and an elliptical trainer. Mom has always been gifting us every Christmas. We were kids all this while. But now both my sis and me are working. So we thought of giving her a surprise this Christmas.
She is very less demanding and has never asked for anything for herself. Sometime we did think we take her too much for granted. She has great difficulty washing plates everyday. Not only that she has been suffering from knee pain of late. The doc has asked her to exercise few minutes everyday. She considered going for workouts and outdoor games a sheer waste of time as we keep her busy the whole day with household works. So both the dishwasher and an elliptical trainer for home use will help her dedicate some time to herself everyday.
