I recently saw and got to try out these things called BuckyBalls. My co-worker brought them in and I am wanting my own set. They will keep anyone, even workaholics, amused for hours on end.

How about personalized desk accessories, a personalized laptop bag, accessories for his smart phone. Some workaholics are big on personal development but don't have a lot of time to read. Maybe a gift account to audiobooks.com so that he can listen to books on his daily commute to and from work.
