What does Memorial Day meant to you?
Does it reminds you more than going to the seaside or familes barbecues
In my case, not growing-up in the western world, has had quite the effect on me. I do not celebrate Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Halloween, Victoria Day, ... I am probably missing some others too.
I got Christmas and Easter ... that's it. It is a matter of culture, I think. I actually do not know what Memorial Day is. Is it today?
I don't do anything too big, but I do remember and thank those who've died and those who are still alive who've served our country.

Please don't tell me it is for the children's sake. Let me emphasize... Christians not others, but Christians.
