In what ways do you spend Christmas?
Do you visit family/friends, do you give presents, do you go to your place of worship?
No I stay home for christmas and love it. I love when the family comes to my house . Cause I do all the cooking.
On Christmas Eve, we spend time with my mom's side of the family and have a traditional Italian dinner. On Christmas Day, we open presents with the kids in the morning after breakfast, go to church, and depending on who's turn it is, we go to my grandmother's or to my mother-in-laws.
This year, we'll be spending time with my mother-in-law and my husband's side of the family. We'll eat at his brother's house and each of us will bring food so we don't burden any one person with all of the cooking/preparing and we can all have a nice time. After dinner and dessert, the kids will all open their presents. We'll just spend the rest of the day enjoying each other's company.
All this, of course, happens with a bit of Bing Crosby playing in the background.
I sing with two different Church Choirs. I will sing a "Midnight Mass" with one choir, and then perform a Christmas Day Mass with the other.
I spend it with my family and I do give presents. I used to gather with a whole bunch of family as a child but I don't anymore. Just the ones I live with now. This year my brother, who is in the army, and his wife will be joining us which is quite the treat and is something we are looking forward to.
Christmas Eve usually go out with friends. Christmas day I always spend with my daughter and close family.
One day of the year to love family and eat and drink and be merry.
This year, before Christmas 24 we will be meeting with some family members..a small gathering. Presents will be mainly given to the children. On the day of Christmas I & my family(husband & kids) will be spending the day at home with each other.
