Where would you most like to spend this Christmas and why?
Is there somewhere you have always wanted to visit at Christmas time? Is there someone you want to spend it with? If there was no barrier or anything to hold you back, then where would you most like to be this Christmas?
I'm going to spend Christmas this year with my five kids and husband in our own home and that is the only place I want to be. We've traveled many years to visit relatives at Christmas, but having our own home Christmas is what we enjoy the most--making our own family traditions, not feeling rushed and just enjoying one another's company.
I would love to spend this Christmas on a cruise for some much need R&R. I haven't had a vacation since last year and I'm ready to crash now. A 7-10 day cruise for Christmas would be a great gift. Now if I could just get my family to read this...who knows!
I'm with the others. I prefer to spend Christmas at home. We always had specific traditions, but now we live a little ways from family and have to travel on either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. I hate it.
Normally we spend Christmas with family but each year we alternate between my wife's family and my family. If there was no barrier, I would love to have us all together but it just doesn't work out that way for various reasons. My other wish is to spend some Christmas time with my closest friends, whom I love dearly.
I don't really mind where - I just love Christmas, and being with the ones I love.
I am overly excited for this year xmas! I will be spending overseas in my hometown with my whole huge family! It will be memorable and unique experience for me and my kids. In my personal view, this season is about getting closer to the loved ones and cherishing precious moments so this is exactly what i will be doing!! Hope you enjoy yours too!
There are some lovely ideas here. VirginaLynne your plan sounds lovely. point2make I hope your family reads this too! nextgoodthing your Christmas sounds like it will be very special. LoriSoard and FleshHeart I hope you will have a lovely Christmas despite circumstances not being ideal. : ( It's nice to know family is an important thread to all.
On a cruise ship. My dream vacation and a holiday. Nothing could be better.
I would like to be with my children and their families for Christmas. Maybe next year
If there were no barriers to going anywhere, I would like to take my family to Australia. We have always wanted to go there. And to celebrate this holiday there would be all the gift we would need.
The diversity and the newness of it all would enlarge each of us so much.
I want to spend Christmas day photographing and having a picnic at a local tide pool.
I am tired of the typical traditions and want to create new, more meaningful traditions as I continue to grow.
