Do You Need A Man To Treat Yourself On Valentine's Day?

I often wonder if all those ladies really need someone to take them to a movie, or out to dinner, or buy them flowers and candy. Do they need a man to appreciate who they are?

No one should require someone else's approval to feel good about themselves.  However, as social and sexual beings most of us crave being with others some of the time (some more than others) and as Valentine's Day is the holiday of 'love' it is nice to spend it with that person you love above all others.  If there is no significant other to spend the day with no harm no foul.  Not all holidays are celebrated by all people.  I treat myself when I feel the need but I won't stop my husband from giving a little extra attention on Valentine's Day.

Valentine's Day is a good holiday to spend with loved ones particularly your significant other. If you are single, there's nothing wrong with treating yourself on this holiday. Get a mani/pedi, listen to some relaxing music, have a glass of wine, take a bubble bath, or go out with your single friends. Who says dinner has to be for just 2? These are some of the things I know I will be doing this year. Hope everyone's Valentine's Day turns out special nonetheless!

When I was young, I was dreaming for the perfect moment to come, yet as I grow older I realize that it should really matter whether the celebration is special what matters is togetherness...
