For me, it is different times of the day. It depends on what else is going on. Sometimes I write in the early morning, and other times I write in the afternoon. I never really do much writing at night, as I get up early and my brain is tired by 8.
Late at night seems to be the time ideas come to me and I want to sit down and flesh them out.
Depends on my mood. While at work ideas just pop in my head so I tend to write during calls. But my great writing will come from being up at night, when my daughter has gone to bed and the house is quiet.
