What's the most you've spent on fireworks??
For me, it's about a thousand!! Worth every penny!
$50 this year. My husband went to buy fireworks for our BBQ with granddaughters and came across little pink backpacks filled with fireworks. $25 a piece but he was a goner because he knew they would enjoy it. We usually do a few here, then send the rest home with their mom and dad to do at home before they head to bed.
By myself, $1,000+. As a combined effort, last year we'd spent roughly $4,500. Before you consider us an unsafe, crazy group of pyros, we do have 54 acres in which we can safely light all of this off and take every precaution. We're not "willy-nilly" about what we do. In a small town, we quickly became the show for everyone in a few mile radius over the years and have turned our picnic into an all day event. Approximately 50 people now attend our 4th celebration every year and we love it! I'm with you madmachio! Burning up dollars bills has never been so exciting.
In truth, this show has become more about bonding with our family and community than just lighting off fireworks and therefore the money is well spent.
